It's been a couple of months now since we started following updates on Panama's education.
First thing we realized is that here has been a tremendous increase in press articles about education, also due to December being the end of the scholastic year! Still, the urgency behind the topic is rising and it seems like the public slowly realizes that education itself cannot solely be seen as option for Panama's future BUT necessity! Criticism starts with infrastructure problems (Waved infrastructure), continues with the low level of English amongst students and even teachers (Waved English classes) and even goes into the limited amount of opportunities which young Panamanians are being given (Waved Swim&Surf). Attached, yet another article from one of Panama's biggest newspapers - literally a one-pager on what Panama's Ministry of Education should have done throughout 2016 BUT didn't.
